Layla Hologram Effect

I was able to get my hands on a friends bottle (thank you Heather!) of this crazy cool hologram nail polish in Mercury Twilight.
I think it looks amazing! This is how it looks in the sun. A rainbow of colors jump out. I can't wait to get my own bottle!
There are eight different colors like pink, violet, jade, two shades of blue, coral, and black. These would be fantastic at the beach because the colors really pop in the sun. Thanks for stopping by! Taniya

Arizona Iced Tea Nails

I think this is so creative! My 14-year-old had this idea and didn't let me see what she was doing until they were finished. This is the result. Arizona Green Tea nails!
A little closer.
She used Sinful Colors in Forget Now for the dark pink, and NYC in City Sweets Pink for the light pink.
The minty green background color is Revlon in Minted. The branches are drawn with the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in black.
Such a cute, and fun idea. Thanks for stopping by! Taniya

Revlon Minted With Polka Dots

Here's a cute combination for those of you who want to decorate your nails a bit!
This is called Minted by Revlon. I used Sally Hansen's Nail Art Pen in white. These pens are temperamental! You need to keep shaking them so it won't come out too watery, but if you shake it with the lid off it will splatter on your hand. Also, sometimes it comes out too fast and makes a big blob. I learned from trial and error. Frustrating because I had to do my nails over twice! It finally turned out alright but I would like to find a more precise tool.
I will have more fun nail designs coming soon! Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to click the follow button! Taniya

Just a Pretty Combo

I thought it would be fun to share this combination with everyone because I love it and think it's SO pretty!
China Glaze Luxe and Lush from the Hunger Games Collection over Aquadelic from the Electro Pop Collection. O.K. time for some cute nail sets for the kids! This set includes the pretty glitter and key rings.
This second one has nail stickers. There's even loose glitter to sprinkle on the polish I guess. Ha ha ha! My girls would have loved any of these!
This big set includes hair clips, lip glosses and I think these nail polishes are scented.
Here's a close up of the nail colors and scents. So fun!!
I wish I had payed more attention to everything in this set because I don't know what the big Hello Kitty face is in the center. Maybe a mirror? Also there are those toe separator things to use when you paint your toe nails. Pretty neat for a little girls birthday present. I know I would have loved it! Have a colorful, Hello Kitty kind of day! Taniya

Loreal Paris LA Entourage

These are the six new limited edition nail colors from Loreal Paris. This collection is called LA Entourage.
Left to right they're called Tweet Me, Boozy Brunch, & Check Me Out.
And these three are Penthouse Pink, Club Prive, & VIP Status.
I may just have to get the Club Prive. Looks like a great color! Taniya

Color Phase Nail Enamel

This looks like a unique one I saw on display in Rite Aid last week.
According to directions, you apply the color then use the clear coat where ever you want to change the color in order to make designs. I may have to try this out! Anyone try this yet? Let me know! Have a colorful day! Taniya

Cos Bar For Target Update

For Mother's Day, my little guy got me one of these limited edition nail colors so I thought it would be great to show you what it looks like on.
Pretty cool color! But...it takes three coats to get it like this. And remember, these don't have names so just go by the color. He also got me one of the soaps from this same line. When I went to Target to check these out my son was with me and I really liked the scent of this soap and he remembered. Such a sweetie! The soaps DO have names. Hurray! This one is cucumber melon.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to hit "follow" at the top of the page! Taniya

Sinful Colors Color Duo Sample

I picked up a couple of these so I can show you what they look like on. They actually go on quite well. Here's one idea for combining two.
The green is called Happy Ending and this cool yellow actually has some shimmer in it. It's called Let's Meet.
This vivid blue is called Why Not. Have a colorful day and see you next time! Taniya

Cos Bar for Target

Aspen's Cos Bar boutiques have a line of products now available at Target. The line includes body care, bath accessories, beauty tools and bags in bright colors and prints, as well as nail colors! Four to be exact. Have a look.
The lighting in the stores makes photos turn out in such a way that distorts nail colors a bit, but you get the idea. There are only these four colors and they have no name that I can find. They're $3.00 each. That's one of the make-up bags I put behind it which is pretty cute! So if you want to own any of the Cos Bar products they are only available for six weeks beginning May 6th, 2012. So grab 'em while you can! Taniya

L.A. Girl Disco Brites

This is another one that recently showed up in my neighborhood Rite Aid. I'm telling you, Rite Aid gets more variety of nail colors and brands than I've seen anywhere else. Better than Walgreens and better than CVS. These newest ones from L.A. Girl GLOW IN BLACK LIGHT! Super fun!
From left to right the colors are: Disco Ball, Disco Diva, Platforms, Disco Inferno, Hustle, Turntable, Vinyl Record, and Dance Studio. Great to wear to a rave or any dance or party where there will be black light! If you happen to wear any of these groovy colors anywhere, take some photos and share with me! Happy dancing! Taniya

Sinful Colors Color Duos

Sinful Colors has these 6 new colors called Color Duos that they are promoting to go together. As in two colors on each nail! Which I love! Check out the display.
Like the green nail with the yellow tip! Colors are from left to right: Let's Meet, Happy Ending, Why Not, Let's Talk, Big Daddy,& Ruby Ruby. Have a bright and colorful day! Taniya

Wet N Wild Neon Crackle

This is just one new display I spotted the other day in Rite Aid, so I went back today to take photos. The new Wet N Wild Neon Crackle Collection has some great bright colors for summer that you can put over whatever favorite color you like to get that cool crackle look.
The colors are Blue a Fuse, Pretty Pink Punk, Inmate in Love, Construction Zone, & Living in the Limelight. Crackle nail polishes usually cost a little more so I think these were $4.99. Fun colors! Until next time friends, Taniya

Thakoon For Nars Nail Collection

If you haven't seen the May 2012 edition of Allure magazine or the May 2012 edition of InStyle you may not yet know about designer Thakoon Panichgul's cool collection of nail colorsfor Nars. Inspired by the colors of India in his spring collection.
Thakoon's tips for rocking this polish? 1. Keep nails short. Nails clipped to fingertip length. 2. Don't be a matchmaker. No head to toe matchy matchy. 3. Avoid competition. Let your polish be your outfit's sole statement. He says to pair it with khaki, camel, black, white, or pale pink clothing and strappy nude sandals. Since each bottle of these lovely Indian named colors costs $18.00 I will not be featuring any on my nails unless by some miracle they are gifted to me. But, I am told, the lightest of these colors takes three coats. So, which is YOUR favorite? I would have to say the blues are mine! (Thakoon's is the lightest blue called Kutki) Tell me yours in the comments. I'd love to know! Taniya
