Revlon Colorstay

The Revlon Colorstay line has 32 colors. The only one I have today though is Wild Strawberry. It's actually a very pretty and bright pink.
I thought it would look super pretty with Luxe and Lush from the China Glaze Hunger Games Collection over it.
See? Isn't it pretty? It reminds me of those cakes called "Snowballs"!
Hope you will check back soon for a new post and click "follow" at the top left of the page! Thank you, and may your day be lovely! Taniya

Revlon Top Speed Nail Colors

Today I have Violet which was rather watery and took two coats to look like this. (Maybe it was just my particular bottle, but I'm finding that with Revlon you never know what you're going to get!)
This next one is Ocean. I feel like a mermaid with it on my toes! *wink This one only took one coat. I love it when that happens!
I hope that if you've found a new color you love you'll share it with me so I can try it too! Taniya

Revlon Top Speed

I've only got a few of these Top Speed colors to actually show you on my nails. I'll have to get a photo of all the colors in this collection for my next post. So today I've got these.
This one is called Emerald and went on nice and smooth.
My 14-year-old daughter modeled this one called Royal and added those cute little flowers with her paint brush. I'll have more tomorrow so be sure to come back for a visit! Taniya

Revlon Tropical Fruit And Girl Scouts!

I have two more colors to show you from the Tropical Fruit Collection. First up is Cotton Candy! This one took three coats and still didn't cover solidly and it has little bubbles in it. But no one can see them unless they're examining your nails, so don't let that stop you because it really is a pretty pastel pink and smells yummy!
Next I have Not So Blueberry, a pretty purple with shimmer. And, of course, it smells like blueberries.
This one only took one coat. Well, that's all I have for now from this collection. If I can get my hands on some more I'll be sure to post about it. Before I go I've got to show you these cute, little sets I found at Target today.
Girl Scout Edition Lip Smacker sets with Thin Mint Cookie flavored lip balm and nail polish too! They come with little nail stencils. Very cute!
This is the shortbread flavored one called Trefoil. So if there's a little girl in your life, these are lots of fun. I even want to try them! Ha ha! Here's to a Girl Scout cookie flavored day! Taniya

More Revlon Tropical Fruit

To give everyone a quick update, right after my last post my laptop died! It wouldn't turn on for anything. So my fix-everything-himself-husband took it all apart and declared we needed a new mother board. So I don't know when that is going to happen, but in the meantime my husband got a really old PC working that was in our garage! We'll see how this works out.So today I have more of the Revlon Tropical Fruit Collection to show you! Hurray!
This is Beach. A yellow/green/gold and it actually smells like the beach! I don't know how they did it. This teal-ish color is called Ocean Breeze. Also amazing because they did so well on the scent, and it covers well in two coats.
This one is Mad About Mango. I had to use three coats for this one to cover well but the color is so great for summer and your nails will smell like a tropical paradise! This color will look great on your toes!
This is called Bubble Gum. As soon as you open this baby the scent of bubble gum comes out. So yummy! So if your hubby doesn't care for that strong nail polish scent that usually lingers in the air after you've painted your nails, this one is sure to please! I've seen colors very close to this one being touted in magazines as being one of the go-to colors this season. I'll have my last couple of scents from this collection for you tomorrow (if this computer keeps working) so be sure to stop by! Have a tropical breezy day! Taniya

Revlon Tropical Fruit Temptation

Revlon has been releasing scented nail colors for a couple years but each spring they re-introduce some of them as part of a new collection. For example some of these same scents came out in 2010 under The Scents of Summer collection. Today I'll show you these two that smell so yummy after they dry! Gum Drop is a light lilac.
Grape Icy is more of a candy colored purple.

All photos taken outside in the sunshine!

This is how I used them on my nails today.

Have a candy-scented day! Taniya

ElectroPop

There are 12 fabulous shades in this funky collection from China Glaze. They're girly, edgy, and fun! I have 3 to show you today.
This awesome purple-y color is called Gothic Lolita.

Please excuse the raindrops but we're having a thunderstorm today and even so I thought the light was better outside! This periwinkle blue is called Electric Beat.

And last, but certainly not least, is this little beauty called Aquadelic! Hope this post brings a bit of extra color to your rainy Friday! Taniya

Prismatic Chroma Glitters

China Glaze has come out with these great glitter colors called Prismatic Chroma Glitters and I think these are so pretty I just had to get a few to show everyone who has not yet seen them.
This is the more purple based one called Prism. These all go on pretty thick in just one coat as most China Glaze nail colors do.
I'm finding it very difficult to show the differences in these colors even when I take them in the sun. From left to right Prism, Liquid Crystal which has more blue, and Polarized which is mostly silver.
This is the whole collection. They also look great over some of your favorite plain old regular colors, like red or purple. Try it like this to go out on a Friday night.

So have some fun with your nails, and show me what colors YOU like best! Taniya

Ever in Your Favor!

These are the last two colors I've gotten from the China Glaze Hunger Games Collection. First we have Harvest Moon representing District 9 which is the district in charge of providing the grain for the Capitol in the books.
A pretty coppery color! The second one for today is called Agro representing District 11 in charge of Agriculture.
Have a colorful day, and may the odds be ever in your favor! Taniya

Another Capital Colour!

I decided to buy a few more from the China Glaze Hunger Games Collection. I like most of the collection but I won't bother buying the ones I just won't wear. So here we go. This is Fast Track which represents District 6 the transportation district.
Kind of a creamy tan with gold sparkles. A nice, pretty, and mellow color. Until tomorrow! Taniya

More Hunger Games!

Hey folks, I've got a couple more colors to show you from China Glaze's Hunger Games Collection.
This one is called Stone Cold representing District 2. This color goes on matte so I left my first finger just as it is when it goes on. That's one coat. The other three nails here I put Seche Vite on top to give me some gloss. So if you don't want any shine from your nail color this one's for you. Here's another look

O.k. this second one, Electrify representing District 5, is a fun, clear enamel with gold and red sparkles. This is with 2 coats.

I don't know yet if I'll buy the rest of the collection but you will find out soon enough! Have a colorful day! Taniya

Happy Hunger Games!

Today I have two more of the Hunger Games nail polishes to show you from the China Glaze Collection. Riveting representing District 3 (the shimmery orange) and Hook and Line representing District 4.
Usually I don't buy oranges but this one is a great shade that I will put to good use and I always like greys/silvers! This is what they look like in the sunshine. One thing I love about China Glaze is many of their colors only need one coat! Stay tuned for more from this collection very soon! Taniya

Hunger Games!

Hey everyone! Have you read this?

Or have you seen this?

Do you recognize her?

Even if you answered no to all these questions You STILL may be interested in these AMAZING, and fun colors from China Glaze! It's the Hunger Games Capitol Colors Collection and I have a couple to show you today and more to show you later. First the color that represents District 12 in the book. It's called Smoke and Ashes because District 12 was in charge of mining. It was originally going to be called Fight to the Finish inspired by the night sky.

In the bottle I couldn't tell whether it was a midnight blue or if it was black with blue shimmery sparkles. Turns out it black with the blue sparkles. Here's another angle

The next one I'll show today represents District 1 called Luxe and Lush. Originally was going to be called Flaming Gems.

Just a clear polish with flakes of...well... opalescent-ness. Ha ha ha! Very pretty and feminine. I will probably mostly use it over other colors. Check back for more fun colors soon!! Taniya
