Milani Gold Glitz

I experimented with this beige with light gold sparkle with the more dense sparkle of the Milani on the tip.
First I used two coats of the China Glaze in Fast Track from the Hunger Games Collection (one of my favorites!).
Then across the tip I used Milani's Gold Glitz. It didn't turn out as neat as I would have liked but I will get better with practice! Hahaha! But I think this is a very pretty combination.
Here's a better look at the bottles.
This one is in the sunshine. Have a sparkling gold day! Taniya

Sprinkles Polish

This was an experiment with cupcake sprinkles that my 14-year-old was pretty excited to try!
We found these particular sprinkles in the cake decorating section of Michaels. They had a great variety, but you can find some just about anywhere.
She put on clear polish first and then carefully placed the sprinkles.
Then she went a bit theater with it and did her lips too!
She figured her lips were so crazy she may as well add some wild glitter eye shadow too.
I hope you enjoyed our fun experiment and will share your own creations soon! Hugs from Taniya, the girl with the sprinkles!

Midnight Sky Matte

Generally, I have not been a fan of matte nails but a friend of mine (thanks Heather!) had this great idea and bought the polishes and let me borrow them. What a sweetheart! I absolutely love the results! First I put on this deep blue that went on beautifully in just one coat. It's Nail Paint by Barry M in Navy.

Then the big glitter coat went on and it's by Klean Color in Starry Blue. That's what's on in the first photo too. I didn't get one of the blue alone. Oops!
Then the top coat is the stuff that makes it matte. It's by NYC in Matte Me Crazy.
Here are all three.
So let me know what you think! Do you guys like a matte nail? Have a colorful day! Taniya

Hello Kitty Tote!

I got inspired by this cute Hello Kitty tote bag I got the last time I went to Little Tokyo.

Light pink and baby blue prettiness with sparkles that are pretty amazing! The other hand is the opposite.
All colors are from Revlon.
From left to right: Whimsical, Pink Chiffon, and Blue Lagoon.
Have a cute, Hello-Kitty-pink kind of day! Taniya

Hook and Line

I like this China Glaze Hook and Line a lot, so thought I would have some fun combining it with something else.

I mixed it with Sinful Colors Oasis for a pop of summery color! This is the other hand.
I hope your weekend was lots of fun! Taniya

Blue Tinsel Nails

I picked up a pack of these Martha Stewart tinsel glitters at Michaels and thought I could use them on my nails.
At first I tried using tweezers to pick them up and place them on the nail, but they were getting ALL OVER! So then I tried dipping each nail into the tube and that worked out better. I definitely can use some practice ha ha ha!
The black is Wet N Wild Fast Dry in Ebony Hates Chris and the blue is China Glaze Electric Beat. Here's the tinsel set.
After I finished my nails, I noticed it kinda matches my shirt!
I'll have to try out some more of these amazing tinsel colors and I'll be sure to post the results. Have a fun nail art idea? I'd love to hear about it! Taniya

Gothic Lolita

I've talked about this purple by China Glaze before called Gothic Lolita. But this great glitter on top makes it ready for a party!

The glitter is by Nabi and it's simply called Blue Glitter, but it's so much more! There's a couple shades of blue, but also pink and purple and it leaves more glitter on the nail in one application than most glitters.
I hope you have a great weekend! Taniya

Grey With Sparkle Tip

Here's something fun to do with your grey. I got this idea from a photo I saw on Pinterest and thought I would give it a go with what I have on hand. The grey base is just a no-name from Tilly's but this polish coats surprisingly well!

The sparkley goodness at the tips is just our cheap Wet n Wild Fast Dry in Party of Five Glitters, but it's great for this because it's pretty full of glitter and the pieces are bigger than your usual glitter.

Thanks for stopping by and have a colorful day! Taniya
